Ovarian Dermoid with Fat and Calcification (Tooth)

Elliot K. Fishman, MD
Director of Diagnostic Imaging and Body CT, Professor of Radiology and Radiological Science, Johns Hopkins
Karen M. Horton, MD
Professor and Interim Chair, Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science, Johns Hopkins

Abdominal CT with intravenous and oral contrast demonstrate a 4 cm right adnexal mass containing soft tissue density and fat density as well as a calcification. This is compatible with a dermoid and the calcification actually represents a tooth.
